Babies are fun, scary, exciting, and a handful. Most parents would agree with that. What I love is their facial expressions before they can even walk or barely hold their heads up. Just in the face we can see what they are feeling, sadness, scared, happy, love, excited. And of course the less nice things like diaper changes, it comes with the territory. When my boy started walking it was funny. He could stand, but not quite walk yet, his legs would shake just trying to hold himself up.
Before I knew it he was running. I thought what happened he was just crawling. They change so fast. He is 2 now and he is starting to speak, which is difficult because I am not really sure what he is saying. Seems like he is just repeating himself, but who knows maybe it's like his own language.
Now he is in the stage where he is learning everything and getting into everything. Sometimes I wonder if you can truly baby proof your house, they seem to outsmart everything. He'll be 3 in a few months and all I can remember is the day we took him home in this snow suit we thought would fit him at the time, which ended up being 5 times to big but it was cute.
To all the parents to be. Your life's are about to change so much for the better. It will be difficult at first, but you'll get the hang of it. Just try to remember that they will only be that little once and trust me you don'' want to miss anything.
What to expect around 3 to 5 year old toddlers.
What can I say 3 to 5 is difficult. Toddlers can be difficult they are getting to the point to make their own minds up, but must be watched closely. My daughters mother was not watching my kid one day while I was working and my kid ended up swallowing a car lug nut. How she di it without choking was a miracle. She ended up ok but it was a scare. So watch them closely.
There are many things I could bas her mother with for not watching my daughter, but I'm not going to do that, I have full custody now and unsafe things like the car bolt don't happen now.
So for this age watch them closely they like to be sneaky and try to get away with everything. Also this is the beginning of the lying stage so look for the signs. they are kind of like a tell for poker you will just know if they are bluffing you of not.
Kids 5 to 11 years old
What a handful this stage can be 5 to 8 isn't that, bad but after that real attitude kicks in. My daughter is 11 now and man is she a handful. Everything is unfair, and not to mention how electronics have taken over her life.
I'm new to this sage so the only advice I can give you here is tread carefully because that attitude is vicious at that age. So good luck
